A short, sharp look back at the past week in the world of Swansea City Football Club in exactly one hundred words…..
What. A. Week. The Jackarmy lost its Liberty at the start of it, our ground now known as the Swansea.Com Stadium. Victory at the Select Car Leasing Stadium (!) followed, Martin’s men thumping Reading to secure a second round tie with Plymouth at the Liberty…err…Dot Com Stadium. Watching on was new signing Flynn Downes, an “undisclosed fee” (aren’t they all) capture from Ipswich. Downes made his debut as the week drew to a close, starting and starring as the Swans secured their first point of the Russell Martin era with an entertaining 0-0 draw with Sheffield United.
We are looking for a sponsor for the 100 Word Week feature with all proceeds going to one of our 2021/22 fundraising campaigns.
If you are interested in having your business promoted alongside the 100 Word Week AND making a difference within the Swansea Community then please get in touch by email: editor@atfv.co.uk
