100 Word Week: 16th-22nd August ’21

A short, sharp look back at the past week in the world of Swansea City Football Club in exactly one hundred words….

Martin’s Men went from vanquished to victorious within a few days. Patience was a forgotten concept as a home surrender to Stoke played out to a backing track of boos, but the jeers turned to emphatic cheers with a Friday night win at Bristol City. The Revolving Door rotated to welcome in Ethan Laird whilst Jordon Garrick temporarily exited for a season at Plymouth. There was more commercial activity with a coral kit released as the club’s third strip. And Swans Ladies did us proud despite defeat to CSKA Moscow and Dinamo Minsk in the Champions League – awesome effort girls!

Swansea’s oldest pub serves up the very latest Swans history – the 100 Word Week is proudly brought to you in association with the No Sign Bar
