Borja brought the Liberty house down with a two goal contribution to maintain Swansea City’s hoodoo over Preston.

Alex Neil’s visitors dominated the first period and will rue being only one up as the half edged near completion.

In truth they should have been four or five clear but spurned chances always threatened to prove costly.

Borja brought the sides level just before the break, perfectly illustrating that very point.

The Swans were a different side second half and that was partly due to Celina moving to the wing (I think I just broke fingers typing that).

A crazy six minute spell proved the defining period of the match; Byers banged in a trademark curled effort, Preston replied with a dodgy penalty only to see that Jack Baston restore the Swans’ lead almost instantly with his second.

There was no sixth goal in the game and so the Swans triumphed and Cooper remains unbeaten.

On the plus side Borja now has three in three. The downside? That’s probably enough to get him sold by Sunday.
