Snoop Dogg Has a Big Heart

American music giant and superstar Swans investor Snoop Dogg has arrived in the football capital of Wales at last, and he he will take his place at the Dot Com this evening for the Swans’ home fixture against Preston. After a little bit of vigorous ‘towel twisting’ (!) we’ll all bear witness to his star power…but ATFV can reveal right now what a big heart he has…because we have inducted him into our Swans Cult Club which is now sponsored by The Big Heart of Swansea.

The Swans Cult Club is a collection of larger than life characters attached to Swansea City Football Club in caricature, all beautifully illustrated by our Graphical Guru Ian Simmons. The likes of Curt and Robbie started off the collection which also includes the likes of Kevin Johns and now rap superstar Snoop!

The Cult Club is now officially sponsored by The Big Heart of Swansea in a deal that will see the heart logo added to every illustration, neatly placed as stand advertising on the glorious Vetch Field Centre Stand background. The deal includes a significant chunk of money that we will immediately use to buy new toys for our the Children’s Wards at Morriston Hospital.

The Big Heart of Swansea is a progressive web-based application developed and powered by the Swansea Business Improvement District (BID), with funding support from Swansea Council. It serves as a vibrant, one-stop digital hub designed to boost the local economy and enhance community life in Swansea city centre.
 
At its core, the app fosters a sense of warmth and connection—reflecting the “big heart” of the city—by offering Swansea residents and visitors exclusive discounts and special offers from participating shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, and other businesses – with more than 200 venues signed up.
 
Beyond savings, it acts as a comprehensive guide, featuring a searchable directory of city centre businesses, up-to-date event listings, gig announcements, competitions, and news to help users discover new places, stay informed about what’s happening, and make the most of their time in Swansea. By encouraging footfall and loyalty to local independent traders, the app embodies community spirit, supporting the BID’s mission to make the city centre a more inviting, dynamic, and thriving place to shop, dine, socialise, and explore.
 
In all, it should prove to be an invaluable tool for Snoop in Swansea should club officials accidently lose him during his first visit to the city!
