It’s 5am on the Sunday morning of the Bristol City game, I’ve worked through the night and I’m finally writing this last page to complete the latest issue.<\/p>

It feels good to put my recent Covid struggles behind me and put this issue together – writing and the Swans are my passions, so writing about the Swans is the perfect combination.<\/p>

Unfortunately the early days of writing ATFV when we under local ownership and going in a sharp upward trajectory seem very far away.<\/p>

These days the perfection of\u00a0 writing about the Swans is poisoned by the unease I feel about the direction we are taking and the owners we were sold out to.<\/p>

Thinking about today’s game against Brizzle and then the South Wales Derby next week, the butterflies are running (flying?) riot in my gut.\u00a0<\/p>

We are in a relegation battle and we need positive results in these games – not for pride or bragging rights, simply to keep us above the drop zone and heading for Championship safety.\u00a0<\/p>

We are improving under Luke Williams but we still have a baby soft centre, lack killer instinct and seem incapable of putting more than a 45 minute performance together.<\/p>

Make no mistake, we are right in the mix and need to pick up points regularly for the rest of the season.<\/strong><\/p>

Happily, despite all of the faults I mention above being present, we have still managed to improve under Luke Williams after his horrendously tough start to life as Swans manager.<\/p>

Two wins and a draw in our last three games brings hope, even if we have made life tough for ourselves in all three of those games.<\/p>

It’s typical Swansea City though that just as we put a run together, all those beneath us do exactly the same thing, stopping us pulling away and creating some breathing space. Nothing’s ever easy where the Swans is concerned, eh?<\/p>

It’s not just the Bristol City and Cardiff City fixtures on my mind in these early hours of Sunday…Monday evening’s Fans Forum is on my mind too.<\/p>

Supporters will get their chance to pose questions to Chairman Andy Coleman and the controversial figure of Paul Watson. As ever I have a lot of questions seething in the back of my tiny mind and I need to prioritise what I want to ask so that I can make the most of any opportunity I get with the microphone.<\/p>

The sad thing is that the need to maximise this type of opportunity and seek answers to the hard questions is needed more than ever since our Supporters Trust Board sold out its members and the fans in general and made itself preening puppets of the American owners.\u00a0<\/p>

Ask that lot an important question about the club finances, transfer strategy or ownersgip structure and you’ll either get a “sorry, that’s confidential” reply or a load of PR fluff straight out of Jake Silverstein’s now seemingly sealed in public mouth. That’s if you are lucky enough to get a response at all from the cowards that infest the Trust Board these days.<\/p>

Arghh…I’m getting myself wound up before tomorrow night’s Forum now. So it’s for the best that I wrap this last page up and head to bed for a couple of hours sleep before our 12:30 kick off.\u00a0<\/p>
