Swans Match Previews on A Touch Far Vetched Online are about to get a whole lot tastier as the Drop Bear Beer Co. becomes the sponsor of our thorough but light hearted pre game overview.
Having put my health problems behind me (!) I’ve resolved to dedicate far more of my time to this website and the Match Packages – which include the match preview, abbreviated match report and full match report – have proved to be popular so far. Finding the right partners to sponsor elements of these packages is my way of ensuring they continue past the first month of the season as well as securing help for ATFV’s charitable work.
Drop Bear is an exciting new brewing company founded in Swansea by Joelle Drummond and Sarah McNena, sporting a growing range of exciting products packaged in a distinctive brand. Drop Bear’s partnership with ATFV will see the alcohol free beer specialists supply regular raffle prizes for our charity events as well as monetary support further down the line for some of medical based equipment donations we want to make.
The charitable work that ATFV does in Swansea is the main reason Drop Bear Beer wanted to get involved with the fanzine as co-founder Joelle explains:
Drop Bear is at the very core a socially conscious business and teaming up with ATFV is a great way to make a positive difference in the local community.
We always try to empower people as much as possible whilst being environmentally responsible.
ATFV does a lot of great work around Swansea and we can’t wait to get involved and take our social presence to the next level!
I’m a Swansea Jack though and through and although Sarah’s originally from Australia, she’s now a loyal Swans fan too.
The sponsorship arrangement will see the Drop Bear Beer logo feature on our Match Preview graphic along with the inclusion of the company’s #dropbear hashtag on all posts and tweets relating to the pre game feature.
However that is just the start as Joelle and Sarah are keen to explore other avenues to support ATFV and having started Drop Bear with a saucepan and an idea and taking it to the Finals of the Welsh Startup Awards I have little doubt they’ll come up with some powerful partnership ideas to benefit the local community. Joelle certainly thinks that this initial collaboration is just the beginning…
