Abbreviated Match Report: Rams 0 v 0 Swans

Freddie was the star as the Swans stole a point, Woodman’s penalty save from Waghorn the crucial moment in a match mostly dominated by Derby.

Cooper’s Troopers started brightly, taking the game to Cocu’s Nuts but the home side created more chances than they coughed up and should have been ahead just before the break.

Bidwell on Bogle was another Sunday League challenge from the former in the six yard box and the penalty was given. Waghorn stepped up, Woodman turned it behind. Yay!

The second period saw Cocu’s Nuts turn the screw but Cooper’s Troopers refused to bend over.

Woodman was the hero again with a spectacular double save and Waghorn the villain once more as he blazed over in the SEVENTH minute of injury time.

The Swans stood firm and earned their point in the wind and rain. The Rams on the other hand can console themselves that new signing Wayne Rooney can take penalties ?
